APOLO TORRES :: Visual Artist

Born on May 2, 1986 in Diadema, SP, Brazil. Currently lives in São Paulo.
Graduated in Industrial Design at Mackenzie University, in São Paulo (2008), he studied painting and creative processes at the School of Visual Arts, in New York (2013). Uses painting as his artistic language, in canvases and large-scale murals. His work deals with the transient nature of life and social interactions, while transiting through classical painting, street art and contemporary art. With individual exhibitions in Brazil, Italy and the United States, and participation in festivals and group exhibitions in several countries, Apolo is an exponent of Brazilian contemporary muralism.
